How we handle your data.
Short version: we collect what we need to run Geniti, we don't sell it, we don't feed it to third-party advertisers, and you can delete it by emailing us. Everything below is the detailed version.
Last updated: 2026-05-01
What we collect
- Your email and Google profile basics (name, avatar) when you sign in with Google. That's how we identify your account.
- Your conversations with Geniti — messages to the incubator, the Co-CEO, and any specialists. We keep these so Geniti can remember context across sessions.
- Content your AI workforce produces — research reports, drafts, artifacts. Stored so you can come back to them.
- Basic usage telemetry — pages viewed, actions taken, errors. No third-party ad trackers.
- Payment metadata if you top up credits. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we never store them.
How we use it
- To operate the service: authenticate you, remember your context, bill credits.
- To improve the product: fix bugs, tune prompts, measure whether what we ship actually helps founders.
- To protect the service: rate limits, abuse detection, security monitoring.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your conversations to train foundation models. We do not show third-party advertising.
How we store it
- Infrastructure runs on Google Cloud Platform in the us-central1 region (Iowa).
- Database and cache are on a private network — not exposed to the public internet.
- Sensitive tokens (OAuth refresh tokens, cookie secrets) are encrypted at rest using Fernet; OAuth and session cookies are HMAC-signed.
- LLM providers (Anthropic, Google) process your messages under their own terms. We send them only what your task requires, and we don't allow them to train on your data where an opt-out is available.
How long we keep it
Account data and conversations stay as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete associated data within 30 days, except for the minimum we're legally required to retain (e.g. transaction records for tax and accounting).
How to delete it
Email privacy@geniti.io from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm within seven days. If you just want a specific conversation or artifact removed, mention that in the same email.
Cookies
We use two first-party cookies: a signed session cookie for signed-in users and a signed guest-id cookie for pre-signup visitors so your conversation survives a reload. No third-party cookies. No cross-site tracking.
Children
Geniti isn't designed for anyone under 16. Please don't use it if you are.
Changes
If we update this page, we'll bump the date at the top. Material changes — anything that meaningfully expands what we do with your data — will also get a heads-up email before they take effect.
